Mechanistic discoveries in nucleic acids machines.

The Helicases and Nucleic Acid-Based Machines conference brings together researchers working on macromolecular machines that drive DNA replication, chromatin organization, repair, transcription, Nucleic acid-based immunity, RNA structural reorganization and processing and RNA-guided processes. Defects in these machines underlie a broad spectrum of human diseases, from premature aging and cancer susceptibility to immunodeficiency and developmental disorders. The meeting integrates biochemistry, structural biology, biophysics, and cell biology to highlight mechanistic discoveries, emerging technologies, and the work of early-career scientists alongside established leaders in the field.
